On the 01-04-14 at around 2.20 pm a police officer was waving traffic into the testing area on The Great Eastern Way in South Morang when he was struck by a motor bike. The male motor bike rider failed to stop. The police officer sustained a severe injury to his arm and was treated at a local hospital where he is expected to undergo surgery. Police are appealing for public assistance.
