On the 24-08-14 at around 9.30 pm four men wearing balaclavas and armed with machetes and lengths of timber forced their way into a home on Montgomery Court in Castlemaine. The thirty-three-year-old sole occupant of the home was struck to he head with a machete before the assailants fled. Macedon Ranges Crime Investigation Unit Detectives are investigating the aggravated burglary.
