On Friday the 23rd August just before 9.30 pm a male offender entered a home on Dudley Park Road in Cobram while the owners of the home were entertaining friends. A fifty-one-year-old male disturbed the offender while he was rifling through property and a struggle ensued during which the victim was stabbed multiple times to his face and neck. The victim was airlifted to The Alfred where it is expected to undergo surgery. The offender is described as being of Asian appearance and was wearing a brown ‘hoodie.’ Police are appealing for assistance in identifying the offender.
