On Monday the 10-04-13 at around 1.30 pm a male assailant physically assaulted a twenty-six-year-old male victim with a weapon causing serious injuries on Dundas Street in Preston before robbing him.
At around 3.00 pm the same day the same assailant entered a tatts lotto shop in Carlton North and demanded money from the forty-seven-year-old shop owner. The victim’s thirteen-year-old daughter was also in the shop. The assailant’s demands for money were not met and he fled.
The assailant then crossed the road and entered a pharmacy and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing with cash.
Melbourne Embona detectives are investigating and described the assailant as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his late twenties to early thirties, olive complexion and a shaved head.
