On Wednesday 03-08-16 at around 1.30pm a male offender entered a service station on Toorak Road in South Yarra with a knife demanding cash. He then fled on foot heading east along Toorak Road with an amount of stolen cash and boarded a train to Caulfield.
At around 2.00pm the offender then entered a second service station on Dandenong Road in Malvern East and again produced a knife and stole cash. He then fled on foot towards the Caulfield Railway Station where he boarded a train for Flinders Street.
The offender is perceived to be of African appearance, 185cm tall, wearing a dark blue ‘Yankees’ jumper, grey hooded top and black pants and carrying a red and black backpack.
