On the 15-08-12 a male assailant wearing a balaclava and armed with a knife entered the Williamstown RSL and threatened the Duty Manager with the weapon demanding cash. The assailant was given $2,000.00 and he then fled on foot. There has recently been a spate of robberies on RSL clubs across Victoria.
