On Sunday the 16-09-12 at around 9.45 pm three masked male assailants armed with a meat cleaver attempted to rob the Yallambie Food Mart Convenience Store. The fifty-five-year old Shop Owner was threatened with the weapon and demands were made for money. The victim managed to flee out the back of the shop and the assailants then fled without any money.
