On Wednesday the 19-02-14 the bodies of an elderly couple were found stabbed to death in their Murrumbeena home. Police indicated that there were no obvious signs of a forced entry into their home and no evidence that the couple had assaulted each other. Police said that they are searching for a motive and have not rule out a burglary gone wrong. Neighbours described the victims as a “lovely couple”.
