On Sunday the 10-09-12 at around 9.20 pm at twenty-eight-year-old male observed a thief remove items from his motor vehicle which was parked in a Melbourne CBD Alley. The victim followed the offender who soon produced a knife. Witnesses called the police who arrived promptly and arrested an eighteen-year-old male and charged him with numerous offences including possessing a controlled weapon and threats to inflict serious injury and he was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
