On Tuesday 16-04-13 at around 3.00 pm a female was walking along Holehouse Street in Sunshine North pushing a pram containing a child when the male assailant ran up behind her and grabbed her and placed his hands down her top. The victim screamed and there was a struggle during which they both fell to the ground and the assailant grabbed the victim by her throat, attempting to kiss her, and placed his hand down her pants. The assault was heard by residents who came out to investigate and the assailant then fled. The victim sustained minor injuries and the baby was uninjured. The assailant was of Asian appearance and chubby. Footscray SOCA detectives are investigating the assault and are appealing for witnesses.
