On Monday the 25-08-14 at around 9.15 pm a twenty-five-year-old male was physically assaulted and threatened with a knife and a firearm by two male assailants who demanded the victim’s phone. The incident occurred in a motor vehicle parked on Eden Court in South Morang. The vehicle containing the three men then drove off with the victim jumping from the moving vehicle on Findon Road. The victim was then picked up by another motorist who drove him to a nearby shopping centre where security officers were informed of the incident. Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit police are appealing for witnesses.
