On Monday the 05-08-13 at around 8.50 pm a twenty-four-year-old male returned to his home on Douglas Street in Cowes to be confronted by a burglar. The burglar then ran from the house pursued by the home owner and a confrontation resulted with home owner being stabbed to his back. The victim sustained serious injuries and was treated at the Dandenong Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
