On the 19-08-15 at around 8.00 am three males approached a seventeen-year-old boy while he was waiting at a bus stop at the corner of Highett Road and Valerian Street in Hampton. The three offenders asked the victim for cash or cigarettes before assaulting him. The teenage victim attempted to protect himself when one of the offenders produced a box cutter and slashed the victim resulting in lacerations to his face and stomach before the three offenders ran off toward nearby parkland. The three offenders were described as being Caucasian in appearance with two aged between fifteen and sixteen years and the other aged between nineteen to twenty years old. CIU detectives from Glen Eira Bayside are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Hampton.
