On the 11-09-14 just after 7.30 pm a masked male entered a retail business on Drummond Street and demanded money from the female shop assistant. The assistant refused to comply to the offender’s demands and instructed another staff person to call the police at which time the offender fled. The offender was wearing a white surgical mask and a light coloured golfing cap and carrying a bright blue chiller shopping bag. Warrnambool police are appealing for witnesses.
